MOCTuK
Good afternoon! I have installed Home Box Fiber (Docsis 3.1) router in my apartment (Vienna, Austria). I subscribed to gigakraft gaming 300. 0 Roman Schreiber
Hi, what does a traceroute to www.google.at look like? Have you ever made a speed test here: https://www.magenta.at/internet/speedtest? Please share a screenshot of the results here. Regards, RS. 0 Roman Schreiber
Thanks for response. The speed and ping looks good to me. Magenta technicians can quickly find out if you are correctly connected to DOCSIS 3.1 by calling 0676 200 7777. Is the best way to call them. Br RS. 0 MOCTuK
Hi Roman, I finally reached English speaking customer service representative. He by my request contacted layer 2 support engineer. Docsis 3.1 is confirmed for my link. Unfortunately it's Docsis 3.1 pure setup without a latency optimization. Because of that an average 10ms round trip latency is what can be achieved. To get a lower latency, Low Latency Docsis 3.1 (LLD) should be implemented. -- Maxim Jonathan Dorian and Isegrim

I would like to reduce my latency as well, on gigakraft gaming 300 with FritzBox 6660 latency to first HOP in network is 11-17ms google search "Low Latency Docsis 3.1 (LLD)": Low Latency DOCSIS is added to the DOCSIS 3.1 specification to handle this problem. It will keep the round trip time around 1 millisecond (for specific services), even under heavy load.
